What will make you successful in this position?
• At least three years of experience working in developing countries
• Eight years of experience in water utilities with at least 50,000 customers, which at least three years managing operation, distribution and maintenance areas
• Fluency in Spanish and working knowledge of English
• Travel availability
What will be your mission?
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the water facilities
• Prepare monthly and annual forecast
• Provide engineering and technical advice on system planning and operations
• Coordinate all technical issues related to the water supply systems
• Manage all corrective maintenance activities
• Prepare maintenance planning and budgets
• Coordinate preventative maintenance
• Ensure the design implementation and management of pressure management and NRW reduction actions
• Ensure proper management of existing network
• Support the Utility in Operation and maintenance of sanitation services
• Develop and enforce safety procedures
