What will make you successful in this position?

- Degree in any STEM subject from a university that is recognized for Chartered Status in the United Kingdom or Professional Registration in the United States, or any other recognized Professional Institution approved by Employer, and or post graduate chartered status from an appropriate professional body.

- Minimum of 15 years relevant experience including at least 10 years with responsibility for a team operating and / or maintaining wastewater assets.

- Direct labor supervision gained in KSA or an overseas environment, dealing with an expatriate work force of various cultures, nationalities, and backgrounds.

- Demonstrate leadership experience and training, have practical knowledge and experience of plant operation and be computer literate.

- Experience in dealing with issues associated with establishing a new team and changing dynamics and requirements.

- Experience in dealing with customers and team development.

- Strong communicator, fluent in English, both written and spoken, as well as an excellent oral communicator with good written communication skills.

- Highly motivated with good analytical skills and able to effectively prioritize and adapt to changing needs and demands.

- Complementary requirement: Spanish.


What will be your mission?

To be responsible for all site-based treatment plant operations and maintenance (O&M) and lead the O&M site team, to ensure delivery of all contractual responsibilities, reporting requirements and achieving both contract and site-based performance targets.


Some of your functions will be:

1. Health and Safety and well-being of the site team, all visitors and Contractors attending site.

2. Development of a competent and appropriately structured team with key responsibilities and roles effectively assigned and delivered.

3. Delivery of site operation and maintenance to meet the required agreed standards in line with the site permit, legal requirements and within the financial limits determined.

4. To develop, agree and effectively monitor site performance measures, trends, and metrics to tie in with site and contract Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), as per Section 10.0 of this SoW / contract.

5. Achieving and reporting of agreed KPIs.

6. Delivery of all routine reporting requirements.

7. To ensure that all plant is operated and maintained efficiently in line with plans and schedules to enable optimum performance.

8. To drive a continuous improvement culture through the introduction and use of appropriate tools and techniques, enabling changes in staff behavior and developments in approach as needed.

9. Review and manage procurement and investment processes and activities for existing assets.

10. Ensuring accreditation or certifications of ISO and other standards as required by the Employer and set out in the contract, with continuing attainment of those standards, as well as development of any new or future standards, as relevant to delivery of this contract.

11. Training and developing the site team.
